This Thursday night we begin our Berk's Next Karaoke Star contest at the California Bar & Grill on rt. 724 and Mountain View Road in Grill, PA (near Shillington) Registration and practice begins at 8:30pm and the contest will get underway around 9:30pm. This contest brings along a huge prize of $1,000.00 which will be given away on the first Thursday in September. Every Thursday night throughout the remainder of June, all of July and August will offer up a $100.00 prize as well as a qualifying spot in the finals in September. Vince Gagliardo and myself are really excited about this summertime event. It's been awhile since we've done a contest together, and we're really looking forward to it. We always had a great time doing the contests at the old Heister's Lanes lounge. Now we have the chance to take it to a new venue and the folks at the California Bar & Grill were nice enough to give it the thumbs up! I'd also like to thank our judges who had been a great part of our old lounge competitions for coming on-board this time too, including Tracey Reichert, Clayton Taylor and Karen Delp. We will also have plenty of celebrity and guest judges throughout the summer. We will also do our best to update our karaoke library as the weeks go on. If we don't have something you're looking for, we'll try our very best to find it.
